March Madness Hits the Chemung SPCA

March Madness has hit the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA. The "Sweet 16," the eight dogs and eight cats that have been at the shelter the longest, will be adoptable at a 25 percent discount throughout the month of March. Cats that are usually $80 and dogs that are usually $125 will be $60 and $93.75 respectively. We are hoping that this special promotion will allow our shelter's longest residents to find loving, forever homes.

Also, during the NCAA men's basketball championship games, all animals will be paired with a team and the winner of the tournament will determine next month's promotion. For example, if a team paired with a cat wins, next month's promotion will be for cats and vice versa.
