The holiday season brings the "12 Strays of Christmas" promotion to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, Inc. This promotion highlights 12 adoptable animals for the first 12 days of December that the shelter is open.

All 12 featured animals will be available at a 25 percent discount from Tuesday, December 1 to Monday, December 14. The animals will have their pictures taken in a holiday setting and their pictures will be on display in the lobby of the SPCA as well as on the Chemung SPCA's website, Facebook and Twitter.

Dogs are usually adoptable for $125 and cats are usually adoptable for $80. With this promotion, chosen dogs will be priced at $93.75 and cats will be only $60.
