This weekend we will be represented at a variety of events throughout the county. Please read on, or check out our Events section to learn more.
Friday
We will start things off with the Elmira Jackal's home opener block party on Friday, Oct. 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come see us there with some adoptable animals.
Saturday
Then, on Saturday, Oct. 17, be sure to check out the First Annual SPCA Co-ed Softball Tournament to be held at the Pine City Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., proceeds will go to the Chemung SPCA. Also starting at 9 a.m., we have Spencer Crest Nature Center's "Dog Days." Community members are invited to bring their dog for a "pawtrait" and enjoy the day's activities. At noon, we will be at PETCO for an offsite adoption event with some loveable animals. For all animals who need their rabies vaccination, we will be hosting a free rabies clinic along with the Chemung County Health Department at the 4-H building at the Chemung County Fairgrounds from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday
Then, on Sunday, Oct. 18, the softball tournament will continue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and we will also be represented at the Red Hat Luncheon at Antique Revival from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Ten percent of the day's proceeds at Antique Revival will go to the Chemung County SPCA.
