While flower buds are sprouting and the air is warming, we are busier than ever this spring keeping up with the animals that come into our shelter. Spring is a busy time at the Chemung County SPCA because we see an influx of kittens and puppies with nowhere else to go. No matter how many animals enter our doors, we are ready to spring into action to care for them. 

There are so many ways that you can help during the coming busy months at the shelter. Spring into action by becoming a foster family for a litter of abandoned kittens, volunteer your time walking one of our dogs or lend a hand to help provide the needed supplies and resources that the shelter uses each day to care for the unwanted and abandoned animals in the community. Our staff could not provide the level of care that we do without your continued support of our cause and we hope to see you and your family at the shelter soon!
